I specifically wanted to deal with a locally owned business when our basement flooded, so i called Paul at Taylor Restoration. I hade never gone through anything like this before, and Paul was extremely helpful... read more right from the start, including providing a referral to a great plumber that was able to quickly help us address the leak that caused the flood in the first place. My insurance company quickly tried to steer me towards a large restoration company that it turns out they own, and they left me feeling like I didn't have a choice in the matter. It didn't feel right at all. Paul was very helpful in guiding me through the process of dealing with the insurance company, even though there was no guarantee that there would be any business in it for him. As it turns out, we ended up with a pretty significant claim for water damage to the walls, ceiling, floors, cabinets & countertops, and just about everything else. It was overwhelming to think about, but Paul & Cory immediately took control of the situation, and what was a disaster quickly turned into a stress-free "renovation" that went incredibly smoothly. All of the subcontractors were very kind and respectful, and the quality of the work is great! Our basement looks better than ever! Although I hope to never need restoration services again, if I ever do Taylor will be my first call.
